The Hands Travel was commissioned by Parisian fashion brand Kilometre and screened at the Outsider Art Fair, New York. This film is a meeting of Eastern and Western traditions. The piano and tabla respectively tease out elements of traditional and popular musical styles. The musical framework is married together with the images, which document the diverse craftsmanship that is undergone in the embroidery, hand loom and printing workshops surrounding Kolkata, and the blending of craftsmamship that results in the clothes produced by Kilometre.
